Based on expectations.
We select an expectation level before visiting a restaurant, and we award laurels in five different areas based on the selected expectation.
The total laurels awarded equal the overall score across the five categories.
One laurel
One laurel is given when a restaurant lives up to expectations.
Two laurels
Two laurels are given when a restaurant delivers beyond expectations.
Three laurels
Three laurels are given when a restaurant delivers exceptionally above expectations.
